Ne smiruju se strasti između beogradskih klubova. Iako je delovalo da će period posle dva večita derbija proći bez prepucavanja, petak nam je doneo nova saopštenja. Crvena zvezda se oglasila istakavši da je „Partizan uzurpirao Štark Arenu, te da ne plaća porez i korištenje pomenute dvorane“. Ipak, nije se dugo čekalo na odgovor sa druge strane, a saopštenje koje je potpisao predsednik Partizana, Ostoja Mijailović, prenosimo u celosti.
„Jasno i glasno želim da istaknem: Partizan ima važeći višegodišnji ugovor sa Arenom i svoje obaveze po tom ugovoru izmiruje na vreme. Ugovor je sklopljen po tržišnim pravilima i ne možemo sami svoj ugovor da kršimo zbog trećih zainteresovanih strana. Ko god da su oni. Podsećam da je Partizan taj klub koji je prepoznao i iskoristio potencijal Arene, učinio je ekonomski isplativom za klubove i uspeo da zaradi od prodaje karata, što pojedince koji to nisu u stanju da urade na istom nivou izgleda posebno boli.
Kada sam pre četiri godine doneo odluku da pređemo u Arenu i govorio da je to jedini održivi poslovni model za košarkaške klubove čija je delatnost generalno neprofitabilna, nisam naišao na veliko razumevanje. Danas mi je, moram priznati drago, kada vidim da je naš gradski rival prepoznao model poslovanja Partizana kao uspešan i da su poučeni našim iskustvom i oni poželeli u Arenu i krenuli sa dovođenjem uspešnih privrednika u Upravni odbor.
Kada je već precizna ruka autora saopštenja našeg gradskog rivala spomenula porez, sa ponosom ću reći da je KK Partizan državi Srbiji uplatio 509.887.214,75 dinara na osnovu poreza po različitim osnovama, tokom poslednja tri meseca, kao što smo i obećali. Stoga bi možda bilo bolje da se oni bave svojim dugovima.
I za kraj, ne znam da li javnost zna usled kakvih privatnih investicionih planova će naš gradski rival ostati bez dve trening sale, pa sada užurbano traže novi dom za mlađe kategorije. I gle čuda, baš hoće tamo gde je Partizan zakupac. Svašta mi pada na pamet da kažem o takvom načinu razmišljanja i poslovanja, ali mi pozicija na kojoj sam i kućno vaspitanje ipak ne dozvoljavaju. Pa ću ostati nedorečen.“
